Thamesian Art Gallery
The Thamesian Art Gallery's first exhibition features an exhibition of works (A journey of the Soul) paid by Dave Kinton which shows his development as an artist over the last 30 years. The art is complemented by a selection of locally owned art.
The genesis of the art gallery has been four years in the pipeline. The decision to finally go ahead with the plan happened during the lockdown period. It was a process of putting aside doubts (of which there are many) and doubters (how dare they). Dreams, it seems, are only achieved or dashed through trying.
The gallery is situated in the heart of Thames. The plan from here will be to run regular exhibitions - ideally every 5 to 6 weeks.
This will be a positive for the town, something new on the main street. All at a time where the economic future is uncertain.
